How do I get to the Annex Hotel?
From Delhi
Flights Daily flights are available on Air Deccan and 3 times a week on Jagson Airlines into Gagal Airport. We can arrange an airport pick-up for the 30 minute drive to Annex Hotel for Rs 800.
Flights are also available daily on Air Deccan into Panthakot Airport and we can arrange a pick-up from the airport for the 2 hour drive to Annex Hotel for Rs 2,300.
Jeep Delhi to Annex Hotel direct takes 10 hours. You can book a jeep with a driver through any travel agent in Delhi and will cost you Rs 9,500 from Delhi Airport and Rs 9,000 from Delhi.
Bus Delhi is where you catch the Bedi or Himachal Tourism buses to Macleod Ganj. From Mcleod Ganj bus stand walk down Temple Road, past prayer wheels on the left and when you get to the 4 way intersection go straight up the hill and pass the Tourist Office on the left and the Hotel Annex is just further up on the right. (This is a 5 minute walk)
By Train and Road Take the train from Delhi to Pathankot. We can arrange a pick-up from the train station for the 2 hour drive to Annex Hotel for Rs 2,300. Alternatively you can get a bus from Pantakot to Dharamshala. There are auto rickshaws, taxis and shared mini buses readily available for the 10 minute drive to the Annex Hotel. Train tickets can be booked online at www.irctc.co.in and pay by American Express, Visa or MasterCard and you print out your own e-ticket.
From Amritsar
Jeep Amritsar to Annex Hotel direct takes 5 hours. You can book a jeep with a driver through any travel agent in Amritsar and will cost you approximately Rs 4,800.
Bus Amritsar to Dharamshala. We can arrange a pick-up from the bus stop for the 10 minute drive to the Annex Hotel.
By Train and Road Take the train from Amritsar to Pathankot 3 hours. We can arrange a pick-up from the train station for the 2 hour drive to Annex Hotel for Rs 2,300.
